Dear aspirant!
I will suggest you self study for cracking JEE mains. Even if you are doing coaching you have to manage time for your self study. If you have no resource to solve your doubts, you are unable to understand topic yourself then you can go to coaching.else if you are in habit of reading things then I can assure you that self study will be best.
Hello,
These days most students go for coaching, mainly due to peer pressure. But how effective coaching is is debatable. For example, coaching centres aren't going to teach you the fundamentals, but polish you what you have already learned.
Also, in every batch there will be two or three candidates the institutes will target and put their efforts. Meanwhile, the rest, though not entirely ignored, won't get the same level of attention. See even if 3-4 candidates of the institute do well, the purpose is served for the insititute, as students will keep making a beeline to enroll for coaching.
So, even if you decide for coaching ensure your basics are strong. NCERT books are very good for concept building.
Regards.
