Your question is not clear but as far as I understood you are asking about previous year question bank in engineering. Then yes it is very important as you will get a glance of of the type of questions asked. But many students get addiction of these things and wants to pass just by reading it but I suggest you should use it just to see the pattern read concepts from books.

Its not competitiive exam its regular study of engineering

For engineering regular study there are not such specific books. It is always mark on the side of books which are provided to you by your college about the year at which that question had came.So you dont ned such books.Also, the previousyear books are made for competitions.
The branch is electrical engineering and is there any important topic book for subjective. Of previous year question.

I would suggest you to go for Ravish R. Singh for the numerical.This books only contain numerical which are reaaly good but there are slight mistakes in this book so be careful.
