sir, I've been got detained in 2-2 semester. but i want to continue b tech. will i be able to eligible to register to 3-1 semester.

As you have mentioned that you are detained in second year second semester (means 4th semester of your B.Tech). I expect you hadn't been allowed to write any exam, so your score in each subject be Fail. In this case, you need to repeat your whole second year third and fourth semester. I suggest you to talk to your class coordinator as it would have very bad impact in your starting career. You can also raise your concern to your HOD (Head of Department).

This decesion might be taken due to your very poor attandance, as in most colleges, one needs to maintain 75% criteria.
