You are eligible to the scholarships only if you are offered a seat based on your merit. If you have taken a seat directly that does not consider your seat under merit based one. So, you are not eligible for scholarships.
Government scholarships are awarded to the students based on their performance in senior secondary examination for pursuing undergraduate course. If you have a good score then you will be eligible for the scholarships.
