See everything depends on how you have palneed your future and what is your aggregate excluding CS.If aggregate is average and you dont want to study further in a good college then you just give CS exam again. But if you are serious towards your carrer and want to achieve something good than you should repeat 12th clear alll your concepts, prepare for entrance exams and get admmisson in a reputed college.

But if your academics are good and you are just failing in CS then you should give only CS exam. you should not waste your one year after one subject.

You should repeat your class 12 again only when you want better marks in other subjects. If you have the compartment subject as one of the main subjects, you will not be getting admission to any college this year, so you may repeat for a better performance. Otherwise only appearing for the compartment exam next year is better. You can also pass the compartment subject from private board if it is not a compulsory subject. All the best!
