Hello Dheeraj,

First thing that matters here is your interest towards a subject. If there is any, go for it in the IIT you're getting it.

If you don't have any such preference, I would give you the following suggestions:

1. Join ISM Dhanbad Mining or Petroleum, since they're both famous branches of the mentioned IIT and the placements are neat.

2. If you're sure of working really hard one more year, join Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture in IIT Kharagpur, which is in itself a reputed course of Kharagpur and you work hard enough to get yourself a vertical transfer. Well and good.
