Yes, you are eligible for Nest examination with your date of birth 12th July 2001.
This is because as per the NEST 2020 eligibility criteria , if you belong to general or OBC category then you must have been born on or after August 1, 2000. Also there's a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories i.e they must have been born on or after August 1, 1995 to be eligible for NEST 2020

- pass your 12 th level exam in Science stream or its equivalent from a recognized Board or University in the year 2018 and 2019 or should be appearing for it in the year 2020
- have secured minimum aggregate of 60% marks if you belong to general or OBC category, while for ST/SC candidates, minimum aggregate marks is 55%.
