Sir, My son studied class I to V in Andhra Pradesh and class VI to Intermediate in Telangana.pls tell me where will be his local status now.

Dear Prakash, first off, for being eligible for TS EAMCET, candidates can belong to either Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. They should satisfy local/non local status requirements of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. OU, SVU and AU areas will be considered as Local Areas of AP for TS EAMCET. Say if your son has studied in anyone of these affliated Institutions for 4 consecutive years, he is considered local. He is local to that state of which he has studied maximum period out of 7 years.  And as your son has studied the last 7 years of his education in Telangana, he is considered Local of Telangana.
