Sir or madam plz tell me how many marks should i score to get the rank below 5000 in kcet
Hello Megha,
First of all you should know that in kcet exam both the PUC marks and the kcet marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics plays very important role in achieving a good rank.
For example if you score 70% in PCM in your PUC board exam then you may have to score about 120-130 marks out of 180 marks to get the rank below 5000 but, if you score 85- 90% in your PUC then 90-100 marks in KCET are more than enough to achieve the rank below 5000.
I came to know when one of my friend had got 7000 rank by scoring only 70 marks in kcet but, he scored 89.9% in his PUC exam.
Hope you are satisfied with the answer.
If you have any further queries related to kcet click on to below link.
The cut off for the 85% quota seat varies for every state and college.
Talking about UP, as you have mentioned.
A score above 500 should be good enough for a seat
For any other query do ask.
All the best.
Hi Meghashree,
For medical, you would just have to fill in the application form of KCET, the rest of the admission and seat allotment process would be through NEET only. As for engineering, you should check the Result Predictor of Careers 360 after your exam to know about your probable rank. however, it would be in your best interest to try and obtain a score above 120. Good luck!!
