Sorry but it seems you won't be able to get a seat in hbtu mechanical branch.
The cutoff varies every year so nothing could be said with complete surety however according to my estimate you can get a good branch like CSE or Mechanical in HBTU at a rank of around 15k Less preferred courses will probably fall around 20k-25k
