Hello!
See the thing is...no person is fearless, everybody has their own fears. And when it comes to examinations, the fear reaches another level. That is how jee mains is designed. It not only tests your knowledge but also your ability to handle yourself in the worst of situations. Even I was scared to death when I gave my jee mains paper. So you see....fear is really not the problem, every single person faces it. Here are some things you can do that will channelise your fear in the right direction:
- Even take your fears as a part of your exam! From your question I can definitely say that you are a very very hard working student who has done everything on his own which makes you different from the crowd out there. If you take your fear of examination as a test and be determined to clear it, no one can stop you. For that you can practice more mock tests and always track the time
- Constantly revise everything. Revision not only helps you everything but also helps you build confidence.
- Don't revise or do anything on the day before exam. Everyone panics on a day before exam and it is really normal. But you can divert yourself from this panic by NOT STUDYING ON THE LAST DAY. Sit with your family or a close friend and talk to them about as many good things as you can. Fill yourself with positivity and confidence. Drink lots and lots of water and most importantly, sleep on time! Remember that, sleep on time! Wake up early in the morning that day and give youself time. Talk to yourself if you want to, that reallyy helps. Talk as many good things you can to yourself.

- The last and the most important thing, have BELIEF in yourself! You have come this far and will definitely go more. Jee mains is just a chapter in your book and it will pass! When you wil look back to these days trust me you will be the most happiest just because you will remember how hard you worked for this which will always keep motivating you! Have faith in yourself. You will surely do it!
All the very best!!
Hello Aspirant,
Even a positive soul needs the motivation to push himself forward. Even after devoting yourself completely to the preparation and studying for cracking JEE Main without coaching, there will be times when you will feel lack of motivation and inspiration. Do not lose hope during such moments of despair. Indulge yourself in activities which will relax your mind as too much pressure will burst your mind out of frustration. Remind your mind about the ultimate goal and motivate yourself to tighten up the seatbelt to ride the rollercoaster which will ultimately lead to the desired destination.
Let me tell you few success stories about students who cracked JEE without coaching. Dhananjay Tiwari, son of an auto-rickshaw driver scored AIR 515 in JEE Main relying completely on the self-study. Another student Abhishek Bhartiya, a Kanpur resident studied only at night as he provided a helping hand to his parents in their business during the daytime. His story of cracking JEE Main without coaching is a good source of motivation.
Practice, revise, clear you doubts, learn "Time Management" and know your weaknesses and strengths, you'll certainly crack the exam.
Wishing you a very good luck.
