There is no minimum percentage requirement to appear for JEE Main. You must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. Earlier candidates belonging to general category must have scored minimum 75% aggregate marks and 65% aggregate marks if the candidate belong to SC/ST category in order to get seat in NIT/IIIT/GFTI. However, due to Corona Pandemic the minimum percentage requirement has been relaxed for JEE Main 2020 and JEE Main 2021.
You can appear for JEE Main even if you haven't scored 75% marks in the qualifying exam as there is no minimum percentage requirement to appear for JEE Main.
