Hey Pavan !
AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Currently there are 9 functional AIIMS Colleges which incorporate a yearly total of 807 candidates in the MBBS UG course.
Out of this, the AIIMS Delhi is ranked 1st out of all the medical colleges all over India, so I guess you can understand the value of the exam.
Every year, the exam of AIIMS UG is conducted in last weekend of May generally in 2 days, with a shift of 2 each day making it total of 4 shifts every year.
The question paper pattern comprises of 200 MCQs sorted in :
1. Physics ( 40 + 20 Assertion & Reason )
2. Chemistry ( 40 + 20 Assertion & Reason )
3. Biology ( 40 + 20 Assertion & Reason )
4. GK & MAT ( 20 )
The marking scheme is :
Correct answer : +1
Incorrect answer : -1/3
Unattended question : 0
Time duration : 3 hrs 30 mins.

AIIMS mbbs entrance exam, conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi to get yourself enrolled in it.
The other institutes in which students get admission is Bhopal,Bhubneshwar,jodhpur,patna,raipur,which has 100 mbbs seats.
This exam is conducted only in the online mode. It means it's a computer based test.
