Sir what is my career if I haven't qualified iit

I will tell you a real story about my friend.
He prepared for IIT for 2 years at one of the best coaching institute in Delhi. There he studied really hard and fared quite well during my preparatory days. He had a sure chance of making it into IIT with decent rank. Everybody believed that, his teachers. The day came and he appeared for the test. The test didn't go quite well and he felt it while writing the examination. And then the result came, he managed to get 7K. Now that is a rank of no use if you belong to general category as I do.
Then he went for a govt. institute. He were quite frustrated over there. For the first semester he were quite sleepless and completely demotivated. He felt like the same way you are feeling right now. Loser was one thing that came as the first thought for him whenever he thought of this(& this thought came quite often). But then he started adjusting with the fact that may have been told to you by many 'If you don't make it to IIT then the life doesn't ends'. And its quite true.You will only get better with time. Nothing else can relieve your pain & anguish except for time. Time is the best ointment to heel any scar be it physical or mental. Give yourself some time and things will start getting better.

You will still have other options if you didn't qualify JEE Advanced.
You can try for admission in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs on the basis of JEE Main scores.
Other Engineering colleges also accept JEE Main scores. You can even appear for other engineering entrance exams like VITEEE, SRMJEE, BITSAT, MHT CET, etc.
