Sir what is the last rank for general selected in neet
hi anand it depends pn whether you have state quota or not , but i would suggest that aim for 580 plus, its high , i know but absolutely doable , so aim for it.NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims, and jipmer. The exam pattern is as follows:-
physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks
chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks
and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck
Before last year the safe rank was considered to be under 5000 but last year the statistics changed so much and 8300 rank got of general got the admission in a medical college .
We can't rely on any of the data because it's very uncertain each year .
But u can think of as AIR under 8000 as safe rank
Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota..Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC , OBC , ST, etc..It will vary for each groupThe Cutoff also vary in Government, Private and Deemed UniversityAlso difffer college to college even in government /private/deeemed. The marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper.
But going to previous year last candidate to get mbbs in general category had All India rank is 8317. But this varies in different state, as in some state the candidate are more competitive than other state.
And GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND FOR GENERAL CATEGORY A MBBS SEAT is obtained around 480 - 600 marks range..
Hope it helps.
In the All India Counselling for 15% All India seats, the last candidate to get MBBS in the general category had AIR 8317 and was allotted medical college in Imphal.
But this varies in different states, as in some states the candidates are more competitive than in others.
But approx. To get selection, you must have 540+ in the NEET paper if we see last yr's result.
Also, the no. of marks for selection also depends upon level of the question paper asked.
Therefore, just build up your concepts so that you can fight any competition and beat any difficulty of question paper.
All the best

The NEET exam rankings is based on percentile and not percentage. So, the marks that the person at Rank 1 gets decides your rank. Also, the number of students appearing for the NEET exam play a crucial role in judging your rank. Nevertheless, if you know the number of students appearing and subtract it from the number if seats that colleges have in the locality you want to go, you can easily estimate the rank at which you will get the admission.
