During filling up of application form for the JEE Mains examination for any session, you need to fill out the the caste option and enter your caste and current category for which you have the legitimate and proper documentation.

You do not need to submit the documents during the time of application but, document needs to be submitted during the time of document verification at the reporting Centre after the counselling rounds.
