Type ECandidates who pass 10th & 12th examination from a recognized board situated in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area or from Maharashtra and whose Mother tongue is Marathi.
Hi, it doesn't matter where you are living for admission in engineering colleges in Maharashtra you need to appear in mht-cet entrance exam conducted by directorate of technical education-maharashtra. It is computer based test. Candidates must have scored 50%or above in class 12th. Every year this cet is conducted and according to the merit college is provided after counseling. Exam consists of 2paper paper-1 mathematics paper-2 physics& chemistry both papers are of 1:30minutes and 100 marks each.50 questions from paper-1 and 50-50from paper-2, 2marks each for paper-1 and 1marks each for paper-1.Out of 200 you have to score and merit is prepared on this basis.Top colleges in Maharashtra are :-College of Engineering, Pune, Bharti vidyapeeth college of engineering, Pune, Mit Pune , GH raisoni,nagpur , VJTI,mumbai, VIT pune,DY patil and singhad main campus and more.
