No, you can not pursue Genetics. It is advisable to go with Master's in Chemical Engineering and after that doctorate. Some chemical engineering graduates go on to further study in order to gain professional status as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng), which helps to boost career prospects.
