You haven't mentioned the name of the exam for which you asked the question. Let me tell you that, if this is about class 11th and 12th CBSE syllabus, every chapter has some memory based part, ie., To learn the concepts and then, the numericals, solving part. You will not find any chapter which is completely memory based or completely numerical based. So, you have to prepare for both of them in each chapter. Some chapters like communication, units and dimensions etc., Have more theory than numericals.
