Dear student, the criteria to appear in WBJEE exam is that you must be of 17 years of age and maximum upto 25 years of age on 31st December of the preceding year to ait for the entrance. There is no rule regarding the number of years after HS. If you well within the age limit yet, you can go for it if you like.
