Dear student,
Dear student you don't get a seat in jee mains, you need to crack jee mains with a minimum percentile and according to your percentile you will get admission in a college. Although just cracking jee mains is not enough, to get a good college you must try to score as high as possible.
However the expected cut off for jee mains 2021 is as follows:
Common Rank List (CRL) 90- 95
GEN-EWS 70- 75
Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) 70- 75
Scheduled Caste (SC) 50- 55
Scheduled Tribe (ST) 40- 45
PwD 1-2
The cut off for the year 2020 was:
Common Rank List (CRL) 90.3765335
GEN-EWS 70.2435518
Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) 72.8887969
Scheduled Caste (SC) 50.1760245
Scheduled Tribe (ST) 39.0696101
PwD 0.0618524
We can expect a similar cut off this year however they might vary a little.
So you should score the mentioned percentile according to your category to crack jee mains and be eligible for jee advanced.
