Hello Student,

If you hold a valid Jharkhand permanent/local residence certificate and have studied from pre-primary to Class 12 in Jharkhand, you can be considered for Jharkhand’s 85% state quota, subject to the state’s counselling rules. Jharkhand’s 85% quota is for permanent/local residents of Jharkhand. Your parents’ Bihar residence does not automatically make Bihar your state quota
