sir...my photo has not been printed in ews certificate and my father's name is different compared to my other documents...they are telling that it cannot be edited...what to do now....for getting new also it will take one yr...since the oof one is valid for one year????

As far as I know no guidelines or norms have been issued to get correct an EWS certificate but still you can take some steps to get your EWS certificate correct, here you go-

Step 1- Make an affidavit from the nearest Notary, mention old name and new name in the affidavit, mention the reason for the change in the name, an attach related documents like address proof, Father's or Husband's name and age proof etc.

Step 2- publish an advertisement in two newspaper one in regional, local and the other in either in hindi or english newspaper.

Step 3- publish it on the official gazette of India along with DD fee and related documents. Attach hardcopy of the affidavit and cutting of the newspaper advertisement.

Step 4- send it to New Delhi, Department of Publication, Civil Lines, Delhi- 110054.
