Sirr i got rank 135k and i am from general catagory so is there something for me in nit ??

NIT rank and marks required to join them are always based on the categories.

As you're from the general category, it is very difficult for you to join the NIT even if you have got rank less than one lakh.

So, the cutoff for the general students in NIT is less than 50000 in every branch so you can not get admission into any NIT with your rank

I hink with the rank of 135k you might not be able to get into any good NIT.and i would suggest you to prepare well for jee advanced if you are qualified ..

And you can also try for local engineering colleges or any other private institute.

But taking admission in Nit is not possible for you this year , you may also take a drop and prepare for next year(long term) and get good score.

Its neraly impossible to make it to NIT as the seats are limited and the exam are given by many candidates so at this rank you could not get an admission in NIT,

but don't worry, there are many private institutions like BITS Pilani, VIT vellore, SRM university where you can get an admission

With a rank of around 1,35,000 in general category, procuring a seat in NIT's seems impossible. But you may try for institutes like NSIT or Thapar university. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
