So I want to ask that our 12 boards result has not given yet but for the form they are asking 12 marksheet and last date is 30 April and my result will be given in May I am from cbse board then what to do now ?
It is completely normal to feel anxious when application deadlines clash with result dates, but don't worry, educational institutions and entrance exam boards are well aware of the CBSE result timeline. Your deadline was April 30, and results are expected in mid-May (likely between May 11-20, 2026). Check here what you should do:
1. Select the "Result Awaited" Option
Most application forms (like CUET , JEE , or University portals) have a specific setting for students in your position.
-
In the Educational Details section, look for a dropdown menu under "Status" or "Passing Status."
Select "Awaited" or "Appearing" instead of "Passed."
Once you select this, the fields for "Total Marks" and "Percentage" will usually be disabled or become optional.
2. Upload Your Admit Card
If the form strictly requires a document upload in the "Marksheet" slot:
-
Upload your CBSE Class 12 Admit Card. This serves as official proof that you have appeared for the exams and are waiting for the results.
-
Alternatively, some forms allow you to upload a "Self-Declaration" or an Undertaking stating that you will provide the marksheet as soon as the results are declared.
3. Check for Deadline Extensions
Since the CBSE Class 12 results for 2026 are officially expected in the second or third week of May, many boards often extend their "Last Date" or open a Correction Window.
-
Check the "Latest News" or "Notifications" section of the website where you are applying.
-
Many institutions allow you to submit the form now and "Update" your marks later during a specific window (often called the Edit/Correction Window).
4. Use DigiLocker for Provisional Submissions
As soon as your result is announced (expected around May 11–15):
-
Download your Digital Marksheet from the DigiLocker app.
-
This digital copy is digitally signed and legally valid for all admission purposes in India under the IT Act. You don't need to wait for the physical copy from your school to complete your application.
