Soo I passed CBSE bords class 12th in 2024 with "6 subjects" but I had RT (Repeat in Theory) in chemistry but I had 6 subjects so I passed overall but I wanted to appear for NEET and for that you need 50%, 150/300 marks in PCB aggregate and I had 50 in Bio. And 51 in Physics and only 32 in Chemistry in my CBSE result [total aggrigate 44%] so I gave improvement next year feb. 2025 as private candidate CBSE in only Chemistry and didn't qualify yet again but then I opted NIOS this year 2026 On-demand NIOS in single subject and got 72 now my PCB aggregate is 57% and I have 2 Marksheets now 1 CBSE with all the subjects and 1 NIOS chemistry single subject Certificate. Am I eligible now for NEET counciling? Am I gonna face any problem during counseling?
Since you have completed Class 12 with PCB and English and subsequently passed Chemistry through NIOS, your PCB aggregate is now above the required 50% for the General category. NIOS is a recognised board and its qualifications are accepted for NEET eligibility.
However, because your Physics/Biology marks are from CBSE and Chemistry marks are from a separate NIOS certificate, document verification can be an important issue during counselling. You should keep your CBSE Class 12 marksheet, NIOS Chemistry certificate, NEET scorecard and all other original documents ready.
Therefore, you may participate in NEET counselling, but the final decision regarding acceptance of the two-board qualification will be taken by the concerned counselling authority during document verification. It is advisable to obtain written clarification from the counselling authority before relying on this qualification for MBBS/BDS admission
