Given: The total number of people in all states is 3,15,000.
The population of the Goa = $\frac{315000 × 12}{100}$ = 37,800
The population of the M.P. = $\frac{315000 × 20}{100}$ = 63,000
In Goa, Literate : Illiterate = 3 : 2
So, Illiterate people of goa = $37800 ×\frac{ 2}{5}$ = 15,120
In M.P., Literate : Illiterate = 1 : 4
So, Illiterate people in M.P. = $63000 ×\frac{4}{5}$ = 50,400
So, the combined number of illiterate people in the states of M.P. and Goa = 15,120 + 50,400 = 65,520
Hence, the correct answer is 65,520.
