Correct Answer: $30 \frac{5}{8} \%$
Solution :
Share of marks obtained in English = $52^{\circ}$
Share of marks obtained in S.S. = $59^{\circ}$
Share of total marks obtained in English and S.S = $52^{\circ}$+$59^{\circ}$ = $111^{\circ}$------------(i)
Share of marks obtained in Hindi = $72^{\circ}$
Share of marks obtained in Maths = $88^{\circ}$
Share of total marks obtained in Hindi and Maths = $160^{\circ}$ -----------(ii)
Difference in share of marks = $160^{\circ}$–$111^{\circ}$ = $49^{\circ}$
Marks obtained in English and S.S. are less than marks obtained in Hindi and Maths by:
= $\frac{49}{160}×100$
= $30\frac{5}{8}$%
Hence, the correct answer is $30\frac{5}{8}$%.
