Subject combination in b.ed degree.

In B.Ed, “subject combination” generally means the two teaching/pedagogy subjects you choose for your teaching specialisation. NCTE’s B.Ed framework allows specialisation in areas such as Languages, Science, Mathematics and Social Science, with the exact combinations decided by the  university.

Common combinations include:

• Mathematics + Physical Science
• Mathematics + Biological Science
• English + Social Science
• Hindi + Social Science
• Physics + Mathematics
• Chemistry + Biology

Usually, your pedagogy subjects must be related to subjects you studied during your graduation, but the exact rule varies by university.
