Follow these basic rules for both the exams:
First of all check their syllabus, then make a preparation plan as per the syllabus and follow it up religiously.
While preparing, make short notes.
Make the basic concepts of Physics, Chemistry and Maths clear so that you can use these topics to resolve daily life's problems.
Take as many mock tests as you can and practise more and more sample papers.
Keep some time for revision and use your short notes at the time of revision.
