It actually depends under which technical university you are studying. From university to university things changes. As you haven't produced any specifics to us I am just giving you a rough understanding.
In semester 1 & semester 2 you have physics papers. The syllabus will comprise of everything starting from classical to Modern physics at a more advanced level although not very elaborative. There will be mathematics with subjects like Vector Calculus,Differential Equations etc. There can be some skill based subjects like Engineering drawing which will emphasize on how you will scale a design and everything like that. There may be chemistry and chemistry labs , Matherial Science kind of subjects. But as I said that this depends on the university under which you are studying. Also Communicative English is a course that you will study in the first year. This will be a spoken english kind of a curiculumn.
The fun fact about the first year syllabus is that its not discipline specific. Its a generalised course everyone should know from every discipline like Mechanical ,CSE etc. From the second year you will gradually get your discipline specific subjects.
I hope my answer helps you. Have a great eve!
