The syllabus of Mechanical Engineering compromises of various subjects in 4 years of 8 semesters. The first year syllabus for all the streams is same .

The subjects in first year are Mathematics, Physics,Chemistry, C programming, Engineering drawing, English , Environment Science and one core Subject.

In Second year you will be introduced to Basic Thermodynamics,Engineering mechanics, Strength of materials, Industrial Electronics, Electrical Technology, Machine Cutting, Machin tools, Material Science and Engineering.

In the third year you will know about the Thermodynamics in detail, Automobile Engineering, Fluid mechanics, Theory of machines, Dynamics of Machinery and production technology.

In the final year you will know about the Advanced Thermodynamics, Heat mass transfer , Machine design and Other few non technical subjects. You will also deal with the Project in the final year Second semester.
