According to the question,
The area of Tarun's plot is 10% more than that of Basab
⇒ The area of Tarun's plot $=x+0.10x=1.10x$.
Similarly, the area of Nakul's plot is 40% more than that of Tarun
⇒ The area of Nakul's plot is $1.40 imes1.10x$.
It is given that the area of Nakul's plot is 2695 square feet.
$ herefore$ $1.40×1.10x=2695$
Solving for $x$, we get,
$1.54x=2695$
⇒ $x=\frac{2695}{1.54}$
⇒ $x = 1750$
Hence, the correct answer is 1750.
