In order to prepare for physics you should read NCERT books first to work on your concepts and to build your fundamentals strong.
Apart, from NCERT you can refer to HC Verma for physics.
Solve previous year questions to understand the level of the exam.
Solve as many as MCQs for your practice.
To score good marks you should focus on the chapters which holds more weightage in the exam.
