Faizan, TMA or Tutor Marked Assessment are a part of internal assessment and carry weightage in the final results. They carry a total weightage of 20% in the result marksheeet of NIOS.
For theory only exams, the mark distribution is as follows: 80 (Exam) + 20 (TMA) = 100
For exams with a practical component, we take 80% of the exam marks and the TMA marks with 20 marks for the practical exam. So the marks breakup is as: 64 (Theory) + 16 (TMA) + 20 (Practical) = 100
