Correct Answer: INR 3,718
Solution :
Cost of diamond piece = $\text{(Weight of diamond piece)}^2$
$⇒6084 =\text{(Weight of diamond piece)}^2$
⇒ Weight of diamond piece = 78
78 is divided in ratio 3 : 2 : 1, we get (39, 26, 13)
According to the question,
Cost of piece = $(39)^2+(26)^2+(13)^2$ = 1521 + 676 + 169 = 2366
Required loss = 6084 − 2366 = 3718
Hence, the correct answer is INR 3718.
