The government of AP has announced that a certain percentage of seats would be reserved for lateral entry in B. Tech from 2nd year but it has yet to be confirmed. Currently the AP ECET 2019 examination aims at candidates who are willing to join a B. Tech course in an Andhra college through lateral entry. Hope this helps!
