Methods Adopted By Wellesley To Establish Hegemony :-

An Indian ruler entering into Subsidiary Alliance with the British had to dissolve his Army and accept British forces in his territory.
Indian Ruler Had To Pay Maintenance To British Army
In Return Of Maintenance, British Army Would Protect Them From External Attacks
Indian Rulers Cannot Form The Subsidiary Alliance With Any Other Foreign Power.
A British Resident was also stationed in the court of Indian Ruler.
