Hope you are doing well
First you have to describe which government college?
As we know iit and nit are also government engineering college . so i am assuming that you want to know about state engineering college .in delhi for admission you need rank under 2 lakh in jee mains if you are outsider that means you are not from delhi and if you are from delhi then you can get seat under 3 lakh rank.

Hey buddy,
Usually for government colleges at least 50% marks are needed and for reserved candidates 40-45% marks are required. Aparyfrom that some college do take entrance exams.
