You haven't mentioned the exam or the institute in which you wish to seek admission. Nevertheless, if the overall percentage requirement in the qualifying examination that is 10+2 is minimum 45% then you need to score minimum 45% overall (in 10+2). If the minimum percentage requirement is 45% in each subject that is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics then you need to score minimum 45% marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. If you score less than 45% in any of the above mentioned subject then you are not eligible for admission even if you have scored more than minimum percentage requirement in a particular subject. Your score in a subject you have scored less than minimum percentage cannot be compensated with the score in a particular subject in which you have score above the minimum percentage requirement.
