the phase if cell cycle in which the centriole duplicate in the cytoplasm
Hi,
Centrioles are cylindrical structures with 9 specialised microtubules symmetrically arranged around a central core.Centrioles are present in all eukaryotic species that form cilia and flagella.
In dividing cells the centrioles duplicate once per cell cycle ,adjacent to a pre existing centriole. It is duplicated during the S phase of cell cycle.
Hope it's clear.
