Correct Answer: INR 15,000
Solution :
Let the salary of A be $x$
⇒ The salary of B = $40000-x$
According to the question,
$\frac{109}{100}x+\frac{111}{100}(40000−x)=44100$
⇒ $\frac{109−111}{100}x=44100−44400$
⇒ $x=\frac{300×100}{2}$
⇒ $x=15000$
Hence, the correct answer is INR 15,000.
