There are different universities and colleges in India that offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in dairy technology. Various institutes accept the state level entrance exam scorecards conducted by the respective states or some of them have designed their own entrance exams for admissions.

The eligibility criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are that candidates should clear Class 12th in Science stream with the minimum required percentage usually 50% - 60% as provided by a university or college.
