There is essential to give jee exam to take admission in B.E.

Hi Manasi, the answer to your query is "No". There are a lot of other entrance exams like BITSAT,WBJEE,MH-CET,SRMJEE,VITEEE etc through which you can pursue engineeering. It is just that you wont be able to study in IITs and NITs for BE if you do not give JEE mains

Its depend on you dear if you want admission in IITs, NITs or IIITs than you should give jee exam. If your plan to take admission in private college than there is not compulsory to give jee but its help in getting the scholarship like CU, LPU, AMITY these private colleges offer a scholarship basis of jee marks.

I suggest you give jee exam because of its help you in every aspect if you get a good score in jee.

see  not all colleges need jee rank to take admission. and be/btech is same. there are many other exam you can give in india to pursue your undergraduate degree in engineering.
