there is mailing address in application form of SHUATS Praygraj. why? does University send anything via post?

Mailing address is same as your current address generally university does not send anything to student address. They take address for communication purpose as if in future they need to send any document or official paper they can send that to mailing address.
So no need to worry just fill up your address details as it is just for communication purpose in case of emergency
