Agricultural engineering is concerned with Design, construction and improvement of Farming equipment and Machinery.

They use to solve agricultural problems related to power supplies, efficiency of machinery, pollution and environmental issues, and processing of agricultural products.

Agricultural engineers work both indoor and outdoor. And also agricultural engineering is career orienting because almost 60% population is dependent on agriculture so to pursue your career in agricultural engineering , you must have basic knowledge of agriculture and also you need excellent communication skills to succeed as an operations manager.

You can also choose other career opportunities related to agricultural engineering like Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Economist, Agricultural Lawyer,  Agricultural engineer, food scientist etc.

Eligibility criteria : - class 12 with PCM, and also biology is mandatory.

-then entrance exams are conducted for admission to B.E/ B.tech programs in agricultural engineering. Also, some colleges consider marks obtained in class 12.

- also, you need to qualify GATE .

And after clearing B.E/BTech, you can pursue further for mtech/M.E.
