Hi Nikhil,
If you give the Improvement Exam of Class 12th, then your marks in a particular subject are only increased if you score more in it as compared to the previous year.
For example, if you scored 55 in Physics last year and scored 48 this year, then your previous year marks will be displayed on your improvement marksheet i.e. 55 because you have not improved in it.
YES, you will have to submit the photocopy of the improvement exam marksheet along with the original one during college admissions.
And, in future, if you go for an interview, you will have to carry both mark sheets i.e. original and improvement as well.
So, keep it safe.
