Hello Aspirant,
It's difficult to tell you the exact about the qualifying cutoff & the exact rank. But as per the previous year cutoff you should have decent chance to qualify the exam as OBC category.
You may calculate your expected general rank by this formula
100 - your total percentile score is the percentage of people ahead of you. 874469 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - your total score) X 869010 /100. If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be (100 - your total score) X 1200000/100
Using the formula
(100 - your total score) X 869010 /100
Your probable general rank will be 1,73,802.
The chances are less to get a seat in NITs, IIITs & GFTIs however you can go for the state level counselling. You can check your state level counselling admission possibilities with JEE Main College Predictor tool given below.
Good Luck!
Hi aspirant,
Although there are more possibilities this year for obc category students to qualify JEE-advanced at 80 percentile, but still I suggest only that much is not enough. As last year it was above 85 percentile for obc category. My advice is to Study hard, concentrate and prepare well for second attempt JEE-mains so you get more score and increase your possibility of getting qualified.
All the best.

Going by the trend the cutoff of last year for qualifying for jee advanced were as follows-
Common Rank List-89.7548849
Gen EWS-78.2174869
OBC NCL-74.3166557
SC-54.0128155
ST-44.3345172
PWD-0.11371730
Now there should not be such a huge difference of around 6 percentile of cutoff, So a student with 80 percentile of OBC-NCL should qualify for jee advanced(according to my prediction)
So, Yes 80 percentile should be sufficient enough in jee mains of OBC-NCL to qualify for jee advance.
Hope this helps!
Thanks and regards
Ayush
