this year the dates are announced for nata the test 10 april and 12 june. is it compulsory to take both???

No, it is not mandatory to appear for NATA first session and second session. NATA is conducted in two sessions so that candidates who couldn't appear for first session can appear for second session and the candidates who want to improve their score can appear for second session as well. Out of the two scores the candidate can use the best score to get admission in a college if appeared for both the sessions. And candidates who appeared for only one session can use the score of the respective session. So it is your wish to appear for one or two sessions.

NATA 2021 exam pattern has been changed which is as follows

Duration of the exam: 3 hours

Total marks: 200 marks

Total number of questions: 125 questions

Language of the exam: English

The type of questions that will be asked are

• Multiple-Choice type (MCQ)
• Multiple Select type (MSQ)
• Preferential Choice type (PCQ)
• Numerical Answer type (NAQ)

The questions will carry either 1 mark,2 marks or 3 marks.
