Though if I qualified in GATE,,can I pay any fee in NIT's?

Admissions into NITs on the basis of GATE score is done through CCMT.  Allotment will be done according to merit and preference of seats. The admission process into NITs through CCMT is as given below:

• Online registration, choice filling and locking of choices
• Online seat allotment
• Payment of seat acceptance fee
• Reporting at RC after paying the seat acceptance fee
• Payment of seat confirmation fee, institute’s balance fee and joining the allotted institute
• Reporting at the allotted Institute and pay the Institute balance fee as per the allotted Institute fee

The registrations for CCMT will commence tentatively in the first week of April.
